I got 'er done this morning. Are you ready? Are you ready?
So I went to bed last night with zees:

(the idea I got from here),
and I got to paintin'.

Oh ma gosh! She still has that fugly hairdo from yesterday!
Yes. Decorating before beauty, people. I have my priorities. (Do those jammies make my butt look big?)
Added the chair rail this morning (it's right below that ugly hairdo.)
And we're done. Now I can get this crap outta my room.

No wait! I didn't mean you, nail gun. I love you! I meant the um, the spackle.
Umkay, the BEFORE before.

Then just the "before":

And voila. The after.

Just asked Jamison if he liked it. He said: "Yeah! It's great. Now all you need is a shower."
So true, son. And thanks for noticing.

Good job, it looks awesome! And, it's also reassuring to see others who craft/decorate/home improve in their pjs. I now know I'm not alone!
Freaking. Glorious. Love it. Go you!
I just found your blog an hour ago. That's right, I have been reading your blog for 1 whole hour. Hubby took the boys on errands. I have laundry to fold, dishes to load, and clean sheets to put on the beds. Do I feel guilty? Nope. Thank you for the entertainment and I most certainly will be back.
You are a hoot, my dear ;)

It's so amazing that I'm a little jealous of your genius! And power tools!
Also, your jammies are just fine, but your behind is making MY behind look big.
You SHOULD be proud of that. Wonderful makeover! Had to laugh about the shower comment, sometimes when you know you're gonna get all grungy it just doesnt make sense to shower first!
I have so many paint splattered jammies!
