To husband, with love.

Dearest hubby,

While I am making every effort to make our house, upon your arrival home, appear as though it was and is spotless, children were/are clean and happy, delicious meals have been partaken of, and life is absolutely, "Leave It To Beaver", I-am-Martha-freaking-Stewart, perfect,

I would like, nay, demand, to point out that:

Shiz happens.

Shiz.

SHIZ.

SHIZ.

It happened.

Let's not do the 10 day trip anymore. Let's say we did, and then don't.

Love,
The (frazzled) wifey-poo

I think anyone who has more than one kid and keeps them all alive is amazing. If they are healthy and happy on top of that, then you're a hero. We have that much shiz around here and I only have one kiddo. What's that make me?

Shiz happens here too. Throw in a muddy drooly St. Bernard and oh - we've got a party. But I don't want to live in the perfect house....I'm going to be so sad when there's no chaos around here!
Love the spaghetti-eating girly on the kitchen table. That's good stuff!

Ha! Love the pictures! And don't tell anyone, but shiz happens here too. SHHHHHH. Can't let anyone know that I'm less than perfect. :)

I thought I was the only one who says... ,"lets say/pretend we did, then dont." LOL. Great pictures by the way.

Those all look like such fun - I say let it keep happening! Martha Stewart is boring!

WOW! You took me back in time to my life about 6 or 7 years. Even the traveling hubs, PLUS running a daycare! (WHEW! Don't know how I did that!) This very post is why I named my blog what I did!! I try to remember that these are the times/things I'll miss so much when they get older and more sassy. So far, that's been my experience. As hard as it was, I find myself wishing SO BAD for the days, when they were little, to come back. I promise you'll look back on these things and laugh, but right now, it's not funny!! You should seriously call me (hit me up on Facebook) next time you need to make a run to the grocery store - or whatever - so you can go kidless! I'm SO SERIOUS! I'd love to come sit with the kids while you get away for a lunch date with a girlfriend or somethin' like that!!!!

I totally agree with you! I always try to make the house look nice when Dave comes home and then, in my case it isn't shiz, Bella happens.

This is my first time on this blog and I have to say you had me laughing out loud. You are hysterical. Thanks for the laugh!

OMG! Too funny! I would think my kids were at your house, except for the proof was in the photos. I got the permanent 3:30 PM grouchies. After cleaning, cooking, wiping, shopping, caring for the baby, by the time the other kids get home, I'm wiped out. They come in and dirty everything up in about 45 seconds flat. Hence my 3:30 grouchies. Every weekday, like clockwork.

Ha ha. I'm so not jealous of you. I'm sure your hubs isn't either. :-)

It looks like the peeps in your house don't really like the red gummies.

OMG! I peed in my pants just a little! That picture of the hand prints on the side of the house...priceless! You ought to frame that one!
Little girl on the table...loved it! My Noah use to do that All the Flippin' time. Guess food tastes better when you are squatting on the table.

I love your kids...I love that you exploit them in photographs and share them with us. Oh Em Gee! :)
