For my birthday. And Christmas.

And probably the next 10 of those:

Found it, bought it.

It was a smokin' hot deal so I couldn't pass it up. It was the price of a good deal on a baby grand, and this is a full. I bought it from a nice lady downtown-- and I don't think anyone played in the house, so it was a piece of furniture, really.

Consequently, I don't believe it was tuned. Like, ever.

It sounded like your gramma's 100 year old player piano covered in inches of dust, with your 4th grade picture sitting on top. Big bangs and all. And it still embarrasses you.

Oh that was just me?

But thankfully I knew the possiblities of this bad boy.

It'll sound awesome after its 2 hour tuning today, and my tuner says it'll be ready for the white glove test.

Hmm, what to play on it first?

Yep, that's my choice. You like that song, too?

Now if you'll excuse me while I go wipe off the hug smudges.

BTW - Jennifer wrote that not realizing it was signed in under Rachel. (Rachel agrees, though)

Awesome! I bet it looks (and sounds) great in there. I hope the fish have recovered from the shock!
