then I am on the great American road trip. Down to the west Texas town of El Paso.
And yes, nighttime will find me in Rosa's Cantina.
There is much excitement,

there will be much needed and enjoyed warmth,
there will be much cousin playing, sister time, much shopping,
and so forth.
This lil present:

will be going down with me.
Massive quantities of pre-cut lumber will be heading down, too.
Also, a saw. Seriously.
Also, 3 drills. Seriously.
Also. . . .

my 4.
My 4,
little.
children.
4 little children, 13 hours in the car.
Somebody hold me.

You are brave to take your kids on that road trip! Have fun... Tell everyone hi for me. :D
That is awesome that you get to go down and visit Monique! You guys will have a lot of fun! Enjoy some warmth for me. Ü
Yay! Have so much fun with Monique at the W Hacienda. Hope you get to take the kiddos to that really fun park, too! Be safe! Can't wait to hear all about your adventures! :)
Can't wait to see you! Woot!!!!
You are Super Human brave, you know that? Do you have gizmos and gadgets a plenty??? Whose-it's and what's it's galore? Maybe you are rocking some serious earplugs. Whatever you are doing, I pray for a safe trip, fun times, lots of sunshine and tons of shopping, eating great food and sister time!
Hugs!
YOU can DO ET! {but just in case, I'll be praying for you!} hehehe
Too bad Texas is soooo big and you will still be so very far from Amarillo because I would lvoe to say hi in person. Enjoy your trip and I hope you maintain your sanity during your drive. Maybe you can threaten your kids with a drill if you need to.
So close and yet so far. You'll be in state but way on the other side. The mexican food will be so worth the 13 hours with 4 kids. Just keep the saw packed safely away...out of reach. Just kidding :) Enjoy your time here.
I'm with ya sister, on the family vaca as we speak. Good luck in the car with the kiddos and have so much fun on your roadtrip and visit to El Paso! I can't believe who- your sister?- is about to reap the benefits of your carpentry skillz! Lucky!
Have an awesome time! I hope you plan to post about whatever the lumber, saw, and drills are for. You do, right? Of course you do.
Been there done that...without the saws and drills though. And was usually heading north. And all of us have survived the 10hr. trips in a small car. Maybe because I didn't bring saws ;o)
Have a good time and soak up some warmth.
Don't worry-- I'm pretty sure Rosa's Cantina will take care of the side effects of the 13 hour drive with 4 little children. Love that song.
I'm so sorry about the long road trip with your kids. I'm sure they will be angels. Better make sure they have a pitcher of margaritas ready for you when you arrive. Just in case.
hehehe... I leave tomorrow for a 16 hour road trip with and 8 yr old and 2 yr old. I have SOME sympathy, since your # of kids is double mine, however... those extra few hours... they make it a close "pitty me more" contest!
You're a brave brave brave brave woman.
I'll think positively for you.
Not that that's gonna help, but I'l still do it.
It‘s so nice that I found your blog about your link on CSI. Of course I’ve scrolled a little and like what I see. Now I’m your new follower! ;)
Take care
Tine
Oh that sounds like so much fun, warm weather! Soak it up! Soak it up!
