A Colorless World.

I've been excited ever since Tracy announced the photog black and white partay for this week.

Seriously-- it has been for-ever ("for-eh-VER, for-eh-VER." Name that movie!) since I picked up thee ole camera and snapped away, So thanks, Tracy.

And ya know? What's the good of just throwing pictures out there? They need, nay, deserve, a title.

I like to call this one,

"My brother's ears just might have their own weather system."

And this one,
"We live in a haunted house, part I."

And this one,
"We live in a haunted house, part II."

And this one,
"This was one of those presents I'd like to kick myself in the throat for buying. EVERY time I step on one."

And this,
"How bad is my breath? This manys."

And this,
"Stop the gingerbread on gingerbread violence!"

And this,
"Yep, it's Candyland. You try playing Monopoly with kids who cry when they land in jail and try to buy free parking, okay?"

And this one,
(thick British accent) "They've all got the plague!"

And this one,

"Yep, Jeff. I took a picture of your butt. And what are you gonna do about it?"

And, finally,
"Let not this pixie confuse you. She may look innocent, but she has been one high-maintenance lil hoodlum lately."

(But we still love her.)

You go play along too, ya hear? You know you wanna.

you are really good with your lighting Mandi. My favourites are (in no particular order): kid and blocks (lighting and subject matter--play); haunted house pt. 1 (lighting is fantastic) and Jeff's butt. The first two are no brainers and Jeff's butt, well, the overexposure spots gives the photo drama.

Only you can make me laugh while looking at b&w pics. That one of the blocks is so cool. I love thsoe blocks. My son is almost 13 and we still have his! Gotta love the butt and baby gilr shot too! Thanks for linking and playing. It's not a party until Mandi shows up! :)

bahahaha, you are SO gonna be in trouble for the butt shot! And that pixie is almost as cute as those ears {but have ya seen my husband & kid, I'm partial to the ears!}

Hahahahahaha....I can always count on you for a fun laugh. This time at Jeff's butt. =) I love that you did that and posted it!!!!!

I have to admit that your little pixie picture is my FAVE!! And I know, from almost 12 years of expreience, what you're talking about when it comes to the sweet, innocent look the baby girl can deceive you with!! I have always sworn that Emmy was born going through puberty, with her emotional and evil, sinister little girl ways, and all, ya know??! I guess I won't complain too much because now that she really is going through that wonderful time of her life, it's not as bad as I have anticipated her whole life!!! (But I'm still glad that I only had ONE girl.) So, enjoy your BEAUTIFUL little pixie and try to overlook the teeny horns that hold her halo up. ;)

Girl, you totally kick my trash! I think I've spent the last TWO HOURS reading your blog - I know you better than YOU do by now. Call me when you're naming your next kid...but seriously, awesome DIY, photos, and great text. After about thirty hundred laugh out loud moments my husband finally stopped asking what was so funny. Oh, and I just found you via "iammommahearmeroar", so go give her some lovin'. Or chocolate. Or some paint. Maybe a gift card. She'd dig that.

I thought I had seen that molding there on one of my many trips (I have a sort of love affair with molding; I don't want to call it an addiction because that implies I need help with the problem lol). I wasn't 100% though because you seem to be creative enough to make it yourself I think!!!

Seriously in love with your blog already, it's probably my new excuse for not getting my own projects done! I can live with that.....

Love your titles! The first one cracked me up. I really like how even in black and white the eye still really sparkle in the last shot. She looks like she was saying "who me?".
