Nice warm glass of shut the heck up.

So I totally caved--

I swore I would never do a Lemonade stand. 'Cause that's the kind of lazy mom I am.

Plus, I hate selling stuff. Even when it's just a quarter. I'm no salesman.

But this, like, gives me like, Mommy points, right?

Or like, Martha points? (right Lori? Right?)

2 things:
Shut. Up.

Er no, sorry. We like Shrek in this house.

First thing: No matter how good my intentions for an adorable "LEMONADE" banner was,

it doesn't work. Even in low winds.

And 2., or B.,

plans to do this while the babe sleeps worked out. Real well.

So please tell me,
that I've met my quota for my mommyhood lifetime. Right? Please?

And extra points for making a sign, right?

I think you have earned your mom points. Looks like they had a lot of fun.

I am with you on the selling stuff. I hate to do it. But a few years ago, I caved too. I have to say my kids' stand looked nothing like yours. I think you earned ALOT of extra mommy points for that one. Problem is once they do it, they want to again.
Good luck with that.

That sign is super fancy. Me likey.

Your title reminds me of the time I told my little brother to drink a glass of shut-up juice. My mom was none too pleased.

I bet you earned both major mommy points and martha points. The sign and banner are awesome...even in low winds. Your son would have made a fortune here where I live with temps around 105 today and temp humidity index is around 106-113. He could have charged a dollar and as long as it was cold, it would have sold out!

I think you earned a ton of points with your first photo of the cut lemon alone. It makes me want some lemonade. I love the sign and you know I love pics of your kiddos. I am so glad you posted. I truly was needing my Tremanyes fix!

25 cents, pretty good deal for those huge cups. Must have really cut into the profit. Sorry Mom, another right of passage. For you and them.

You MADE a sign for your kids' lemonade stand? And are those...are...those CUT OUT LETTERS?

You've hit the mother load of mommy points AND Martha Points.

Not to mention those photographs are gorgeous.

I am shamed, woman! Shamed!

Aww. I hope the kiddos had some neighborhood visitors to make the stand worthwhile - not in terms of $ but so they can feel nice and "business-like." And wow, that lemonade looks ah-maaaazing right now...

Crap honey, you even made a sign? Yes you have earned your mommy star that outshines all of us, so quit it already! You are such a better person cause I would have looked at mine and laughed. Actually they did drag the picnic table up to the front of the house and tried to sell tomatoes from the garden, not sure but I think they sold one and it wasn't to me!

That is so cute! Did it do well? The kids have always wanted to do a lemonade stand but who would they sell it to? The bulls next door? They don't look like lemonade drinkers to me.=)

I was talked into the same thing this summer and I too HATE selling things... bad news is my kids loved and ask to do it again all the time... Of course I say no...
today the 11yr old and her friend wanted to do it again, I said no, no lemons, then they asked if they could sell snacks from the pantry...NO
